Just as we have constellations in the sky, we have constellations or patterns in Tarot. Tarot constellations can assist us in seeing and understanding the bigger growth edges and patterns in our unique blueprint, as it relates to our numerological blueprint based on our birth date.  Adding the numbers of your birthdate and reducing the numbers to a two-digit or 1-digit number, provides an additional doorway to understand some of the deeper lessons and patterns in your life.  We can see these patterns and lessons in the form of archetypes and symbols laid across tarot constellations. 

Tarot Constellation is based on a numerological pattern in the Tarot cards, they are numerological groupings of the Major and Minor Arcana that point you towards the specific themes and patterns moving through your life lessons, edges, patterns, soul growth and development.  

I learned about Tarot Constellation through the work of Angeles Arrien and Mary Greer.  

We discover your unique Tarot Constellation and Growth Year patterns through looking at your birthdate numerology (adding the month, date and year of your birth) and then further reducing that 4 digit number to a 2 or 1 digit number by adding those 4 numbers together.  We also look at growth year by adding your birth month and date to the current year (when you had your last birthday).

For example, if your birthdate reduces to a number 7, you would look to The Chariot Constellation, which is comprised of all the cards in the Major and Minor Arcana that have a 7 or, a 2 digit number that adds up to 7, such as the XVI Tower (16 = 1 + 6 = 7)

These 6 cards will provide you endless study to understand yourself and your life patterns, soul growth themes, karmic challenges, shadow and developmental edges more deeply.  

The cards within this Constellation would be the 4 minor arcana:

~7 wands

~ 7 swords

~ 7 cups

~ 7 pentacles

The Chariot and The Tower

One could say that the Guide of this constellation is the card with the Highest number -The Tower. The tower supports shadow aspects of the Chariot, and the Chariot supports shadow aspects of the Tower.
