You are not broken.
You are
between
stories
The one forming within you now cannot be figured out with the mind alone. It needs to be lived into -slowly, sensorially, in the company of myth and other women who are also learning to stop spinning.
SHE WHO ARRIVES HERE
You have done enough. Read enough. Sought enough. Healed enough. And still something remains unnamed.
You are intelligent, self-aware, and exhausted by your own seeking. You have accumulated frameworks, certifications, therapists, workshops —and somewhere in the accumulation, the actual thread of your life got lost.
You know your patterns. You can articulate your wounds. And yet the spinning continues —more analysis, more fixing, more drilling towards a self that somehow keeps receding.
What if the spinning is not the path forward? What if this disorientation -this feeling that the map no longer works —is not a problem to solve, but the most significant threshold of your adult life?
“She was placed in a room full of straw and told to spin it into gold. She had no idea how. She had never been taught. Her father had made that claim —not her.”
The story of Rumpelstiltskin is not just a childhood fairytale. It is a map of what happens when a woman’s gifts are named by someone else, when her spinning is outsourced, when the gold she makes is taken before she can hold it. We are reclaiming this story —and learning, for the first time, to spin our own.
Western culture gave you no framework for this threshold. Not at adolescence. Not now.
The last time you were inside a cocoon—if you were held inside one at all —you were becoming an adult in a culture that extends adolescence indefinitely and calls it growing up. There was no ceremony. No elder. No mythic container that said: what is dissolving in you is not a failure. It is the beginning of the real work.
So here you are at midlife —the structures are loosening, the identity is softening, the old competencies suddenly inadequate or no longer fitting —with no map for this terrain. No wonder it feels like crisis. No one named it as initiation.
It is.
Let’s Rewild the Phases of Midlife Transformation -as Women
I. Spinning
II .Cocoon
III. Emergence
IV. The Wise Phase
StoryBody
A 9 month apprenticeship in myth, body and lived wisdom.
Using fairytale and mythos as a spine you will turn your lived experiences and internal compass points into a map of embodied wisdom. Using body, senses, scent, movement, nature and writing as instruments. The company of other women in transition in midlife —at the same threshold —as the cocoon or container.
We will experience
I. Nature Immersion and Foundation —we begin outside in the living world. Nature Immersion & Retreat
II. Myth as Perceptual Field —fairytale and mythos are not symbols to decode or stories for entertainment. They are fields that temporarily reorganize our perception. They are initiatory maps of transformation and the heroines journey.
III. StoryBody Practice —a repeating cycle of somatic entry, imaginal roaming, life anchoring and gold thread harvest9ing. Your lived experience becomes the raw material. Embodied wisdom is the result.
IV. The Story Pelt —Across nine months, your gold threads accumulate into a living document —a constellation of your becoming.
