Local Gatherings

Story, writing, song & seasonal gatherings in Niwot and the Boulder area

Old tales. Living words. Time together.

Gather with me around stories and the turning year. We listen, write, sing, and follow what stirs in memory, body, and imagination. Some gatherings offer an evening of storytelling; others invite us to stay with a story over a couple weeks.

No writing or storytelling experience is needed. Bring your curiosity.

Into the Ancestral Forest

Three Old Tales · Seven Weeks of Storytelling, Mythopoetic (W)rites of Passage & Song

Old stories need time.

Time to enter the forest. To stray from the path. To sit in the Ancient Grandmother’s hut and listen.

We’ll gather around three old tales, making room for what they stir, feeding them through embodied writing, song, and shared witnessing.

Seven Mondays · November 9–December 21
6–8 pm · Niwot, Colorado
From the New Moon in November to Winter Solstice.

Coming soon · Niwot–Boulder area

An evening to settle in and hear an old tale told aloud. Fairy tales, myths, song, and room for the unexpected.

Come to listen. Let the story work on you. Carry something home.

Around the Turning Year

Seasonal gatherings to mark the thresholds of the year through story, song, writing, and simple ceremony. A chance to notice what is changing in the land and in our own lives, and to make something of that meeting. I love to collaborate!
