Shekhina's Tongue

SHEKHINA’S TONGUE

The Tongue is the Word and the Word is Divine

Shabbat has been called a palace in time—a threshold where the world pauses and Shekhina, the bride or indwelling presence, draws near.

Shekhina is not bound by walls. She flickers in flame, hums in the hive, animates place, body, memory and imagination, sweetens the tongue with honey.

On Friday, September 26th, we gather in the woodland of Allenspark, Colorado to rewild this ancient tradition.

We bring:

Stasha and Amy's wild storytelling, incorporating ritual play, improvisation and theater/art magic to open portals of myth and memory for the feast and for the land.

Song & poetry, living feast, and site-based practice that root us in Shekhina’s presence, intimate and alive.

Path of Needles, Path of Pins Rewilded

The Path of Needles, The Path of Pins
A Storytelling + Writing Ritual with Stasha Ginsburg

✴︎ Description:

Before Red wore a hood and met the wolf in the woods,
there was a stranger, older tale—
darker, sharper, more cunning.

In this wild twin to the well-known fairytale,
The Grandmother’s Tale (an old French version of Red Riding Hood),
a young girl is asked to choose:
the path of pins or the path of needles.

This story doesn’t behave.
It slips sideways.
It reveals the edges of girlhood, hunger, shadow, and instinct.

Join me for a 90-minute online story ritual where I’ll tell the rewilded tale.

Then we’ll enter the story together
using guided writing prompts to explore how its images, choices, and hidden questions
live inside your own mythic memory and personal life story.

✴︎ You’ll Experience:

  • A live oral telling of The Path of Needles, The Path of Pins

  • Mythic reflection and symbolism of the tale

  • 2–3 evocative writing prompts
